Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club (AVSC)
Founded in 1937, AVSC is the oldest and largest youth non-profit in the Aspen Area. Its mission is to provide all youth of the Roaring Fork Valley the opportunity to grow as athletes and as people through winter sports. All AVSC programs teach the core values of commitment, teamwork and integrity. $25,000 of the proceeds of the sale of Nighthawk Aspen will go to AVSC's scholarship fund. The fund provides support for local low-income children to participate in AVSC's winter sports programs. Of the almost 2,000 participants in AVSC, 615 children received a scholarship from the Club last season.
